• Muslim “researcher”: Muslims will bring Islam to “hateful infidels” by “a huge Muslim army that will wage jihad”

Doubtless that most learned of imams, Pope Francis, is on his way to the “Palestinian” territories now to kiss Ahmad Al-Khatwani’s feet and explain to him that authentic Islam and the proper reading of the Qur’an reject every form of violence.

“Al-Aqsa Mosque Address by Ahmad Al-Khatwani: Job of Muslims Is to Bring “Hateful Infidels” to Islam through Jihad; Rome Will Be Conquered,” MEMRI, March 31, 2019:

Palestinian political researcher Sheikh Ahmad Al-Khatwani said in an address he delivered at the Al Aqsa Mosque that Istanbul had been conquered just like the Prophet Muhammad had predicted, and that Rome will also be conquered according to Muhammad’s predictions. Al-Khatwani said that Muslims do not hate non-Muslims; rather, he said that all Muslims do “break down the physical obstacles” that prevent the “hateful infidels” from being brought into the light of Islam. He said that Islam is a religion for all of mankind and that the “physical obstacles” will be broken down by “a huge Muslim army that will wage Jihad for the sake of Allah.” The video of the address was uploaded to the Internet on March 31, 2019….

Pelosi appears to take new jab at Ocasio-Cortez, says ‘a glass of water’ with a ‘D’ could win their districts
House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif., on Monday made a point to heap more praise on Democrats who flipped Republican seats in the 2018 midterms and downplayed representatives like herself and freshman Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, D-N.Y., who carried districts where a "glass of water" with a "D" next to it could win.

  • Verse of the Day for Tuesday, April 16, 2019:

I will exalt you, my God the King; I will praise your name for ever and ever. Every day I will praise you and extol your name for ever and ever. — Psalm 145:1-2

    Thoughts on Today's Verse....
The way we praise God forever, the way we honor our pledge to give him glory for all the days of our life, is really pretty simple: we do it today. As long as we praise God today, the forever takes care of itself. So as you commit to lift high the name of God and praise him for all eternity, remember the place it starts: praise God today — not only in the things that you say, but also in the way that you live!
    My Prayer...
Mighty God and loving Father, today I want to tell you how marvelous and wonderful I believe you to be. You are righteous, faithful, holy, and merciful. You are tender, loving, and yet magnificent in glory and incomparable in strength. You have redeemed me from my sin and given me hope beyond my own death. You have filled my life full of good people and have promised me a home with you. You, O God, are without peer and without rival. You are my King, my awesome and majestic Father. In Jesus' name I praise you, today and forever. Amen.

  • Dear LEE,
Today, we’re continuing our series on heaven!

As we saw yesterday, Adam and Eve experienced total joy in the Garden of Eden, where they walked every day. They experienced perfect communion with God and enjoyed being with Him in the evenings. (see the Bible, Genesis 3:8).

I like to think that they told Him all about their day, as good friends do...When their relationship was broken, God did everything possible to reconcile with them – and all men. He went so far as to sacrifice His only Son so that:
We could once again stand before Him
We’d experience a sincere and deep love relationship with Him
We’d walk beside Him, joyful and confident.
    Today, LEE, perhaps:
Your walk is long and difficult
You’re going forward without enthusiasm or courage
    You’re tired and oppressed
You’re doing your daily tasks, but your heart isn’t in it
Your prayers are automatic, lack conviction, because you’ve lost faith.
I’d like to encourage you…God empowers you to walk with Him, enjoying every hour, every day, because He is present – through His Spirit, here on Earth. And you will, one beautiful day, walk with Him in person in heaven! The Bible confirms this in Deuteronomy 20:4: “For the Lord your God is going with you!”

God invites you to enter into His rest and perfect joy. He reminds you that you have the privilege of living in His presence all the days of your life.

I encourage you to follow Jesus closely! Draw nearer to Him, become His friend like Adam and Eve, like Moses, whom He spoke with as friends. Enjoy His joyful and comforting company. You will follow Christ better by walking close to Him, all throughout your journey.

Have a fantastic day with Jesus by your side!
    Thanks for existing!

In preparation for Easter/Resurrection Day, I’ll encourage you to step out and do something nice every day.

Connect with Kindness - Day 36:
Buy a flower or bouquet and give it to a widow, elderly person, or someone you know who is discouraged.
